S.G.S. is a company set up by myself (Scott Oliver) in 2001 and was first and foremost based around automotive engineering primarily the supply and fitment of vehicle engines. We also carry out general routine maintenance , MOT work and welding alongside the engine building and fitting service.

Here at S.G.S. we pride ourselves on doing the job right and not just for the benefit of the customer but for self satisfaction and to keep the good name the company has built over the last five years.

We have found over the years that people who drive air cooled VW’s want this dedication to quality much more so than others to whom a vehicle is just a means of transport. So that’s how we have become a specialist in air cooled VW’s.

Working on what I myself love to drive and knowing the vehicles inside and out has led the business into what was a pastime for myself into a reputable air cooled VW garage.

We also still carry out general servicing and repairs to modern vehicles as some customers only like to use there VW’s at weekends and on dry days.
